How to Get Carded The Canadian Coast Guard Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCO card) is earned by scoring 75% on a test of boating safety knowledge. This lifetime certification must be on board by operators of all pleasure crafts powered by a motor. Why? The fine for operating a powered boat without a Pleasure Craft Operator Card, when required is $200.00 DON’T DELAY...GET CARDED! Boat Operated Accredited Training Full course (recommended for youth) 8 - 10 hours July 22, 23, 24 1:00 - 4:00 pm Cost: $60.00 + GST = $64.80 Condensed Course (recommended for adults) 4 . 5 hours July 15 5:30 - 10:00 pm Cost: $40.00 + GST = $42.80 Exam Only (recommended for experienced boaters who study well on their own) Phone the complex to set up a time.
