Activities
Mountain biking as a means of discovering the great outdoors is
growing quickly in northeastern Ontario.
A variety of opportunities exist in Kirkland Lake district. At
the easy end of the scale are the groomed roads of the provincial
parks and quiet back roads around town. Medium difficulty trips
include old logging roads. Extremists, on the other hand, can choose
from really old logging or access roads, snowmobile trails, or old
hiking trails. These are usually very over grown, single track and
seriously challenging – certainly not for the faint of heart!
