The Division is also responsible
for building and maintaining the wireless network that serves as
the backbone of the Corporation’s information system, liaising with
private sector partners wishing to use the wireless network, and
representing the community on provincial and federal initiatives
to promote connectivity and telecommunications infrastructure in
Northeastern Ontario.
