The mission of the Department of Corporate Services is to ensure the effective coordination of corporate resources, initiatives and operations to meet the needs of the community. Its responsibilities include:

• Administering the legislative responsibilities of the Corporation;
• Serving as the main liaison between the corporation and the public, private sector and provincial and federal governments on political, fiscal and economic development issues impacting the community;
• Monitoring and planning the Corporate budget; and
• Providing accurate and timely advice to the CAO and Council to ensure corporate goals and objectives are met.
