The mission of the Department
of Corporate Services is to ensure the effective coordination of
corporate resources, initiatives and operations to meet the needs
of the community. Its responsibilities include:
- Administering the legislative responsibilities of the Corporation;
- Serving as the main liaison between the corporation and the
public, private sector and provincial and federal governments
on political, fiscal and economic development issues impacting
the community;
- Monitoring and planning the Corporate budget; and
- Providing accurate and timely advice to the CAO and Council
to ensure corporate goals and objectives are met.
