The Parks and Recreation
Division is dedicated to providing the citizens of Kirkland Lake
with access to the programs, facilities and services they need to
enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle.
The centrepiece of the Division’s operations is the Kirkland Lake’s
community recreational facility, the Joe Mavrinac Community Complex.
The “Joe” is the pride of Kirkland Lake; a multi-use facility encompassing
a 185’ x 85’ arena, two squash courts, aerobic room, weight room,
and a 25 M indoor pool.
