The Kirkland Lake Day Care Centre is dedicated to the provision of safe, well-managed day care services for children, provided by eight full and part-time, qualified, staff. Its goal is to stimulate independent growth, emotional growth, social growth, intellectual growth and physical growth amongst its charges.

The services the Centre provides to the public include:

• Full and part-time day care for infants to age 5 years;
• Resource program for children with special needs;
• Before and after school care for Kindergarten students;
• Limited before and after school care for school-aged children; and
• Socialization program.

The Day Care Centre also provides subsidized services for parents in need, based on an assessment made by Timiskaming District Social Services Administration Board.
