Council relies on advisory
committees and boards to provide recommendations and guidance on
important municipal affairs such as the operation of municipal facilities,
emergency planning, physician recruitment, etc. These boards and
committees comprise council representatives, town staff where appropriate,
and local citizens.
If you would like to volunteer
your time and experience on a board or committee, contact the Deputy
Clerk for a listing of vacancies. Please note that applicants must
be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the Town of Kirkland
Lake. Appointments are for a three-year term commencing January
1st, unless otherwise stated.
