Team Kirkland Lake is a network of present and former Kirkland
Lakers who are working together to bring economic prosperity to
the community and make it a better place to live.
Kirkland Lake is trying to reinvent itself. We can no longer depend
solely on our natural resources and traditional industries like
mining and forestry to drive our economy. We need to look at new
and different kinds of business if Kirkland Lake is to survive and
prosper in the future.
One of our greatest strengths as a community is our people. Over
the years, we have exported KL’ers to every corner of the globe.
No matter where you go, you run into someone with some kind of connection
to KL. We want to bring the experiences, ideas and contacts these
people have with the energy and enthusiasm of existing community,
and see if this combination can help us build a new future for the
town we all love.
