The EDD is a part of the municipal government.
Its mandate is to promote the community to outside investors
and tourists. The Division also provides basic research and
analysis services, and advocates on behalf of the local business
community to the municipal, provincial and federal governments.

KDCDC is a federally funded organization whose
mandate includes community development and small business
support. KDCDC provides advice, information and referral services.
It also provides access to capital for small business financing
through its locally governed investment funds. |
