Whether you are already in business or just thinking about striking out on your own, you will inevitably face questions and issues for which you are not prepared. How do I write a business plan? What about e-commerce? Where can I find funding?

The questions never end. Fortunately, there are ways to find the answers. If your concerns relate specifically to doing business in Kirkland Lake, contact the Economic Development Division first. We may have some answers for you, or we may have dealt with similar questions in the past, and so can point you in the right direction. Or visit some of the other local resources listed in this section. They offer a broad range of experience and knowledge. Lastly, consider the Internet. A variety or provincial, federal and international sites exist that can help.
